Aluminium Venetians

Aluminium Venetians have a sleek, uncluttered look that suits most commercial environments. They are lightweight, resilient and easy for occupants to operate. Cleaners find them easy to care for and they can be removed for annual spring cleaning.

Slat finish choices include matte, gloss, satin, brushed, marble and Thermostop® in a range of attractive neutral colours. There is also a perforated slat material, which helps to make the most of natural light. Slat sizes include Slimline 25mm or the retro-cool 50mm Classic. There is a Twi-Nighter option for greater block out.

Aluminium Venetians can be easily adjusted for to provide the right amount of light, shade, ventilation (for opening windows) and privacy.
Slats are manufactured from robust high-tensile bounce-back aluminium alloy, which includes up to 97% recycled material.
A special Thermostop coating can be added to the concave side of slats to reduce heat emission, so spaces stay warmer in winter and cooler in summer.
Perforation options are available to provide optimal daylight regulation. For example you could have 8% perforation for a south-facing window and 4% perforation for a north-facing window.
Specialty shapes are available to shade non-standard windows and doors.
Automation can be integrated into building management systems and applied to single shades or groups of shades, with remote control or wall-switch controls.

Models

Simple and stylish, Luxaflex® 25mm Slimline Aluminium Venetians suit most contemporary commercial interiors. Superior materials and components ensure these blinds look good for years, resisting corrosion and damage that can come with daily wear and tear. Slat overlap is 5mm.

Luxaflex® Twi-Nighter® Venetians have no visible holes, which means no reflections on computer and media screens. They also offer optimal privacy, for situations where security or confidentiality is important. Slat overlap is 7mm.

The retro look of Luxaflex® 50mm Aluminium Venetians works well with designer interiors that pay tribute to mid-century aesthetics. High-tensile aluminium alloy slats are robust, corrosion resistant and easy to clean. Headbox and bottom rail are colour co-ordinated. Slat overlap is 9mm.

Operating Systems

You can operate Luxaflex® Aluminium Venetians manually - a cord system lifts them up and down, while a twistable wand opens and closes the slats. They can also be automated and controlled with a remote control.

Automation

The blind is operated by a built in electric motor. There is a choice of switches, group operation, infrared remote, radio remote or solar control. 25mm blinds are operated by 24V motors and 50mm blinds are operated by 240V motors. Auto Tilt option allows you to adjust the operation of the slat only with a battery operated motor and remote. (25mm only).

Chains Cords & Locks

The combined Wand/Cord traverses the fabrics through a cord operation. Twist the wand to rotate the vanes. The Wand/Cord always stays in the same position, unlike the travelling wand.
